WHO quote

Everyone Needs FRIENDS!

 --------------------------------------------------------

Five Trustees lead Lifepaths Charitable Trust and are committed to promoting emotional resilience and reducing anxiety in young people.

Ensuring our young people are emotionally and intellectually grounded is an investment in our nation’s future and will encourage productive leadership. This site contains information and resources that we hope will contribute to this outcome.

We currently have four programmes in New Zealand.  Three of those fit under the FRIENDS umbrella and can be used in schools as a prevention and by health professionals as a treatment.  They are:
Fun Friends - years 3-7

Friends for Life - child years 7-12
Friends for Life - youth 12-16

Focus is the fourth programme and is used by psychologists and psychiatrists to treat children, youth and adults with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

Ultimately the Lifepaths Trust is committed to making a positive difference in young people’s lives. These Programmes are the first steps in this journey.
