FRIENDS Facilitators

Lifepaths trains FRIENDS facilitators around New Zealand. Most of these people are school teachers who use the programme to meet the health curriculum and improve the well-being and outcomes of their students. Other facilitators include parents, social service organisations, DHB staff, counsellors, psychologists and others.

The ideal setting for FRIENDS is in schools where the facilitator already has a good relationship with the young people. Here FRIENDS can be offered to all students as a life skills and resilience programme which has proven evidence of positively affecting young people's ability to cope with anxiety and Bounce Back from difficult life situations and experiences.

Lifepaths runs in-house and public facilitator training days which equip and certify facilitators in just 1 day. Check our homepage for public training dates near you.

If your school does not have FRIENDS available and won't commit resources to it at this time then Lifepaths can connect you with public facilitators. Please contact us to be referred.
