Seeking Registered Psychologists and Teachers

To Train in Friends for Life, Fun Friends and Focus

Lifepaths Charitable Trust is seeking applications from Registered Psychologist and Teachers who are interested in becoming Contract Trainers in our three main programmes :-

FRIENDS for Life: The world’s leading resilience and life skills programme for primary and secondary school aged children. It can be used as both a treatment (clinic and pastoral care) and prevention (school based) programme for anxiety and depression, building self-esteem and social skills training.

Fun Friends: Adapted from the Friends for Life programme and designed specifically for 4, 5, and 6 year olds, Fun Friends teaches emotional resilience that will stay with young children for life. It can also be used in pre and primary schools as a prevention tool and in clinical groups as a treatment.

FOCUS: For the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in children, youth and adults. It is run in clinics by registered psychologists for individual and group therapy.

Registered Psychologists: We are seeking applications from psychologists who would like to use all three of the programmes in their practise but who are also able to contract to us to provide training days in their area.

We would like to set up teams in each area i.e. a psychologist and teacher, who are available. Ideally we would like teams in each main centre throughout New Zealand.

If you are interested in applying please send your CV with a covering letter to:
